Here are the top stories in Huntsville today:
- The Better Business Bureau (BBB) will host a shred day in Athens on Saturday. It will be at Athens State University from 9-11 a.m. and will include document shredding, a drug take-back, and a donation section for items you want to donate to Make-A-Wish. (WHNT News 19)
- A Madison County deputy was injured in a crash related to a car chase. The alleged driver accused of fleeing the scene where the chase ensued was found in Lincoln, Tennessee and is being held as a fugitive until he is extradited. (WHNT News 19)
- Mayor Tommy Battle’s Tree Planting Day is set for Nov. 5. It will be held between 9 a.m.- noon. At John Hunt Park, and you can volunteer to plant trees with a total goal of 350. (Huntsville, AL)
