- With Trader Joe’s opening this week, the Rocket City isn’t slowing down. The MidCity Amphitheater had a hard hat tour for some community leaders last week and is on track to open in May! (WZDX)
- The National Cyber Summit is happening now in Huntsville! Summit planners worked for 18 months to plan this year’s events safely. Many of the in-depth conversations would be hard to have over Zoom, so it was important to do it safely in-person. (WHNT)
- The president of the National School Association of Secondary School Principals, Gregg Wieczorek, paid a visit to James Clemens yesterday. Wieczorek got to tour the school and was impressed with how they are preparing students for colleges and careers. (WAAY)
- The South Huntsville Public Library is NOW OPEN! The HATCH Cafe will be open earlier than the library and close at the same time. (Press Release Desk)
- Darden Restaurants donated new refrigerated trucks to the Food Bank of North Alabama. They coupled this gift with a $26,000 donation! 10 total food banks across the country received this gift. (Darden)
