  1. The City of Athens has set their budget for $34 million dollars in their general fund this year. Mayor Marks is aiming to offer salaries that can compete with the areas around, including Huntsville. This budget will also allow the city to keep up with their rapid growth. (WZDX)
  2. The Alabama Department of Public Transportation (ALDOT) has decided to update the South Memorial Parkway Corridor. However, they are accepting public input until November 1, so make sure to send your comments in! (WZDX)
