  1. The Department of Defense has found the evaluation of relocating Space Command to Huntsville to be a “reasonable” process. This means there’s only one step standing in the way of moving Space Command: an environmental study that is expected to happen next year! (Space News)
  2. Jones Valley is now the home to a Grimaldi’s Pizzeria franchise location! It opened yesterday and serves New York style pizza. (WHNT)
  3. Cerrowire has launched an expansion to their current factory in Morgan County. The new portion will be located at the Morgan Center Business Park and is over a $100 million investment. (Alabama NewsCenter)
  4. Calhoun has announced their summer camp schedules! They will feature cyber camp, softball, and golf, amongst others. The different camps run for various amounts of time, so check out the full list to make sure you don’t miss out! (WHNT)
  5. Governor Ivey has awarded a $500,000 grant to work on a six-mile stretch of Mooresville Road in Limestone. The work will include repairs, leveling, and resurfacing. Improvements to the shoulders will be added along with turn lanes and traffic signals at some intersections. (WAAY)
