Here are the top stories today in Huntsville:
- The Alabama Supreme Court will hold an out-of-town session at the VBC today. The last session they held in Huntsville was in 2015. Seniors throughout the county in upper-level government classes were invited to be a part of the session. (WHNT)
- A student of the Heart Academy at Julian Newman Elementary School was allegedly left at the Nashville Zoo during a field trip Monday. The student was displaced from the group, and their parents picked them up from security later that afternoon. The school has not commented on the situation as of writing. (WAAY)
- The Limestone County Commission has approved the 2022 paving schedule. You can see the full district breakdown as well as other information from the News Courier. If there are any funds left over, there is room to add things. (News Courier)
- Asteroid and Orbit with the Canines for Coping will be getting a new teammate! The Huntsville Hospital dog program will add a third dog in April after seeing how well the program has gone over. (WAFF)
- Alabama A&M is starting the search for a new men’s head basketball coach. They were unable to come to an agreement on Coach Dylan Howard’s contract. (Alabama A&M)
