  1. The Athens cheer squads brought home three different second place trophies from Nationals! Varsity received second for Super Varsity, Junior Varsity placed for Game Day, and the middle school team was second as well! (Athens High School Cheer)
  2. An image created by UAH’s Dr. Ming Sun and his team and his postdoctoral team, which includes Drs. Chong Ge and Rongxin Luo, was chosen for the cover of the “Nature’s Astronomy” journal. Their February edition features the image as well as a paper from the team. (Yellowhammer News)
  3. The Land Trust of North Alabama is asking for donations to expand the Chapman Mountain Preserve. They have found a property for sale by the Edmonton Heights neighborhood and need help to come up with the $370,000 to purchase the land (WHNT)
