Here are the top stories in Huntsville today:
- Dr. David A. Puleo has been named the new Provost and Executive Vice President For Academic Affairs at UAH. He is currently the dean of the School of Engineering at the University of Mississippi. His new position will be effective August 1, 2022. (Patch)
- The UAH Hockey team is funded and ready to go, but does not have a conference currently. The Western Collegiate Hockey Association, the conference UAH had been a part of between 2013-2021, dissolved in 2021. (NHL)
- Huntsville Utilities has reported that a communications line is hanging low at the intersection of Gurley Pike and Powell Street in Gurley. As of writing, there is no update, so avoid the area if you have to travel. (Huntsville Utilities)
