  1. Valentina’s Pizzeria and Wine Bar will be hosting a fundraiser Wednesday, August 24th. Half of the proceeds they make between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. will be donated to the Robinsons, a family in Madison that tragically lost their home in a recent fire. (Valentina's Pizzeria and Wine Bar)
  2. Alabama A&M University has named Paul A. Bryant as their new Athletic Director. Bryant has been the athletic director at several schools previously, and was most recently the Associate Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics at Edward Waters. (WAAY 31)
