  1. Joshua McLaughlin was appointed by Governor Ivey to serve as the new Limestone County Sheriff. McLaughlin has experience in criminal prosecution and was a narcotics investigator in Limestone County. (WAFF)
  2. UAH has announced the Endowment To Support The Performing Arts. Every dollar given between now and December 3 is being matched up to $10,000 by an anonymous donor. (Patch)
  3. A fundraiser was held by the Outlaw Offroad jeep group to raise money for the family of Christopher Easter, the VBC employee that was found under a vehicle that had come off the jack. His family and friends gathered to celebrate his life and make sure his children are financially taken care of. (WAFF)
  4. As of Friday, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center will be requiring masks inside and on the simulators. This applies to everyone three and older regardless of vaccination status. (WHNT)
  5. A Huntsville City Schools bus was rear-ended Wednesday morning. The bus had 12 students on board, but luckily, nobody was injured. (WAFF)
