  1. A $60 million road construction project is in the works to connect Highway 72 to Highway 431. There isn't a start date yet, but some applications for grants and approvals have been submitted. (WAFF)
  2. Thrive Alabama and UAH worked together to raise awareness for World Aids/HIV Day. They held a ceremony yesterday for the cause where they were able to feature eight panels of the Aids memorial quilt. (WZDX)
  3. There is a proposal on the table right now to transform the current Huntsville City Schools central office building into living spaces. There are concerns over traffic and property values and the Historic Preservation Commission and City Council would have to give approval for the project. (WAAY)
  4. Drake State is going to offer advanced manufacturing bootcamps on welding, artistic design welding, machine tool, and oil change safety inspection.
