• 2 people shot, killed at home in Irondale identified (wbrc.com) — Two people were fatally shot late Sunday night at a home on Stone Wall Drive in Irondale, and police are investigating the case as a double homicide. The victims, from Huntsville, Texas and Birmingham, have been identified, and Irondale Police are urging anyone with information to call the department or submit anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers. 
• Suspect arrested in Irondale double homicide investigation (abc3340.com) — Irondale residents now know a suspect is in custody for Sunday night’s double homicide on Stonewall Drive, after police arrested Laderrick Landen Broadnax on capital murder warrants. Authorities say he acted alone, there’s no ongoing community threat, and he is being held without bond in Jefferson County Jail while the investigation continues.
