• Large manhunt leads to capture of vehicle theft suspect in Leeds (trussvilletribune.com) — A two-day manhunt in Leeds ended with the capture of a suspected car thief who fled a stolen vehicle near Zeigler Road and Highway 119 and later hid near Mountainview Lane homes. Multiple agencies, helicopters, drones, and K9 units joined Leeds police in the search before the dehydrated suspect was found, treated at a hospital, and prepared for charges through the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.
