• Madison County deputy sheriff kills 27-year-old woman, injures others in on-duty crash (al.com) — A Madison woman was killed early Saturday when the car she was riding in was struck by a Madison County sheriff’s deputy responding to a call on Alabama 53 near Huntsville. Two other people in the car, along with the deputy and an intern, were injured and taken to Huntsville Hospital. State troopers are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
