Bishop State Community College: PTK Hosts Wellness Rocks Health Fair

The Bishop State Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Officers are sponsoring WELLNESS ROCKS!, a personal health and sex education fair, on November 10, 2021, from 10 a.m. - 2 m. the Main Campus.

The health fair is designed to help fellow students and the community improve and maintain their quality of life through sex education and other health-related resources.

There will be a blood drive, blood pressure & diabetes checks, and COVID-19 vaccines available. Speakers are scheduled to give presentations in the Bishop State Theater from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The fair will also have several exciting activities planned including a SILENT DISCO premiering in the atrium, Frank N Lola's food truck, Kona Shaved Ice Truck, and South Flight will be landing a helicopter on campus and sticking around for tours!

Many local and national organizations will attend including LifeSouth, Aids Alabama South, the Women's Resource Center, AltaPointe, Victory Health Partners, and SouthFlight.
