Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:
- The Mobile Police Department has arrested a third suspect in the May 31 shooting of a 14-year-old girl. Archie Petite, 36, was arrested for the shooting that occurred on Michael Donald Avenue. Lamonyae Forrest, 18, and an unidentified 16-year-old were previously arrested. (Fox 10 News)
- There are a lot of new jobs available in Mobile. Local companies including Williams Sonoma, Gulf Distributing Holdings Company LLC, and many more are looking to hire. Click the link for the full list that includes part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions. (Mobile Patch)
- A Mobile woman has filed a federal lawsuit against the City of Mobile and a Mobile Police Department officer. The lawsuit claims that the woman's arm was broken while the officer attempted to falsely arrest her during an incident last year. Officer Michael Israel allegedly broke her arm while putting her in handcuffs and placing her in the back of a department patrol car. It is not clear if Israel ever faced any discipline for the incident. (WKRG.com)
