Here are the top three stories in Montgomery today:
- A Montgomery man has been killed due to a truck wreck on U.S. Highway 231, according to Alabama State Troopers. Gary Lee Jenkins III, 64-years-old, veered his Freightliner straight-truck off the roadway before overturning. No additional information has been released by the State Troopers. (Alabama News Network)
- The National Archery in the Schools Program Alabama State Championship will be on Apr. 7 and Apr. 8 at the Multiplex in Montgomery. The championship is the largest youth archery competition in Alabama. This year's competition will feature more than 1,800 archers spanning grades 4 through 12. (Outdoor Alabama)
- The Montgomery Zoo Weekend is Mar. 26 and Mar. 27. The event is the zoo's annual Spring fundraiser. The event will be packed with music, live entertainment, animals, games, prizes, and concessions. Click the link to purchase your tickets. (Elmore Autauga News)
