• Kelly Loeffler visits Harris County to highlight small business loan impact (wrbl.com) — Hamilton residents just saw two hometown businesses, Breaking Bread Sandwich Company and Hamilton Ice Cream Company, spotlighted by U.S. Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler for using an SBA-backed loan to grow and hire local teens. Owner Lee Starling, a Harris County native, says the financing let him buy both businesses and buildings, now employing 26 people and expanding opportunities for local high school students.
   

• Harris County Airport Open House - Saturday, October 24, 2026 (harriscountyga.gov) — Hamilton-area families can head to Harris County Airport on Saturday, October 24, for a free open house featuring complimentary airplane rides with a waiver, paid historic warbird and Huey helicopter flights, and kids’ entertainment. A terminal expansion groundbreaking is set for 11:30 a.m., giving residents a first look at improvements coming to their local airport.
