Here are the top stories today in Montgomery:
- Montgomery police have arrested a suspect in connection to Monday's fatal Montgomery shooting. The suspect was identified as Miles May, 28, of Montgomery. He was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with murder. (WSFA 12)
- Two business operators have been convicted for failing to pay Alabama sales taxes. Attorney General Steve Marshall said that Simon Njuku, 45, and Mehryar Nasseri, 44, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Circuit Court. The Attorney General's office said both men admitted to underreporting their gross sales each month for nearly three years, reducing their tax bill. (News 19)
- Pay issues are causing frustration among many Alabama nurses. (News 4)
- A Maryland man has been stuck in Alabama for over four days after his car was stolen from the parking lot of Cracker Barrel near Chantilly Parkway in Montgomery. (WSFA 12)
