Here are the top stories in Montgomery today:

  1. The Alabama Big 10 Mayors conference took place yesterday, Mar. 28 in Tuscaloosa. Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed was in attendance alongside the mayors of nine other Alabama cities, including Mobile, Huntsville, and Birmingham. The conference gives local leaders the opportunity to discuss growth and development in their respective areas. (WBRC 6)
  2. Police responded to an overnight shooting on Buckram Oak Drive. On Sunday morning around 5:00 a.m., officers with the Montgomery Police Department found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital; the investigation is ongoing. (WSFA 12)
