- Alabama's COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are rising again, which may be cause for concern as families plan to gather for the holidays. The Alabama Department of Health urges all eligible residents to get their vaccination and booster shots as soon as possible. "During this joyous holiday season, keep the health and safety of all Alabamians ... in mind by following COVID-19 prevention measures," said State Health Officer Dr. Scott Harris. (WTOK)

A security photo shows the suspect wearing a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt during an Oct. 20 incident in which he made unforced entry into a home on Clanton Avenue. The suspect has also been connected to burglaries at two separate businesses on South Hull Street. Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call police or CrimeStoppers at 334-215-STOP (7867) or 1-833-AL1-STOP. (WSFA 12)
