- Attorneys for the U.S. Department of Justice recently updated its lawsuit against the state of Alabama to provide examples of the deplorable conditions that led the federal government to file suit. The DOJ has claimed Alabama officials are "deliberately indifferent" to the "unconstitutional conditions" within the state's 13 prisons. (FOX 54)
- Home prices are on the rise in Montgomery County compared to last year's real estate market. The median sales price for a single-family home in Montgomery County during July was $189,000, which is an increase of 9.6% when compared with July 2020 data. (Montgomery Advertiser)
