  1. The purchase of a 272 acre Montgomery site has been approved by the Alabama State Port Authority. The site will give the Port Authority a container terminal near the Hyundai plant and offer access to other potential clients. The cost of the land is roughly $2 million and is a critical piece in the plan for the Montgomery facility. (AL.com)
  2. Montgomery fiber and gigabit internet services will be expanded by C Spire. The new network will complement Montgomery's information technology assets and hopefully boost economic development in the region. The expansion is part of C Spire's $500 million investment in Alabama over the next three years. (WSFA12 News)
  3. The Montgomery Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that has left one woman with injuries on Tuesday morning. The shooting occurred at the 1200 block of Easter Boulevard. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.(WSFA12 News)
