- The former interim chief financial officer for the Montgomery public school system has been arrested for state ethics violations. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall said 68-year-old Brenda Palmer is charged with violating the state ethics law and lying to an investigator. Palmer surrendered to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. (AL.com)
- Dining Out For Life on World AIDS Day is an annual dining fundraising event that raises money for AIDS Alabama South. This charitable event is held at participating restaurants and bars in the Mobile and Baldwin County area at restaurants that have pledged to donate a percentage of each customer's bill. (Fox10)
- An Alabama judge accused of violating judicial rules with her opposition to the death penalty is set for trial on ethics charges that could result in her removal from office. (WVUA 23)
- Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed was among the White House attendees Monday as President Joe Biden signed his $1 trillion infrastructure deal into law. (WSFA)
