🌱 Hyundai Produces Electric Cars In Montgomery + Church Burglary

Here are the top three stories in Montgomery today:

  1. Montgomery's Hyundai Motor Manufacturing plant will begin building the new electric Genesis GV70 and the Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid version. Production on the two car models will begin later this year. The new production is the result of the motor company's plans of investing $300 million into the Montgomery plant with the intent of creating 200 new jobs. (Alabama News Network)
  2. The Montgomery Police Department is searching for a suspect in a recent church burglary. The suspect reportedly broke into the church on Friday in the 2000 block of Johnston Street. Anyone with information related to the case should contact the department or CrimeStoppers. (WSFA12 News)
  3. The Montgomery Police Department has arrested four suspects in a Monday afternoon robbery. The incident occurred in the 2200 block of Mt. Meigs Road and the department reports that all four suspects are 16-years-old. Pemetrius Mallory, Curtis London, Kewonn Burt, and Zayontaye Lockley are being charged as adults and are being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility. (WSFA12 News)
