Here are the top three stories in Montgomery today:
- Knox Pest Control is opening a new office in Montgomery. The company is based out of Columbus, Georgia. The new 20,000 square-foot facility will allow the rapidly expanding company room to grow. The company services customers in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, and Mississippi. (mypmp.net)
- A student at Lee High School was stabbed on Tuesday morning. The Montgomery Police Department responded to the incident. The female student was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. The high school was placed on a soft lockdown following the stabbing. (WSFA12 News)
- The Montgomery County Board of Education has determined the salary for its newly hired superintendent. Melvin J. Brown will receive $255,000 annually in a three-year contract. Superintendent Ann Roy Moore will retire from her post on Jun. 30. (WSFA12 News)
