  1. Montgomery business owner Pam Jordan has been looking for help at her business, Pamala's Boutique, for almost two years. With the holidays approaching, she says they are urgently seeking help — along with many other local businesses looking to hire this busy season. (Alabama News Network)
  2. Governor Kay Ivey has awarded $564,520 in grants to assist with energy-efficiency upgrades at municipal and nonprofit facilities across Alabama. The grants will be used to install energy-efficient lighting and heating, air conditioning and ventilation units, solar panels, and wastewater treatment equipment. The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs is administering the grants from funds allocated by the U.S. Department of Energy as part of the State Energy Program. (WTVY)
  3. What appeared to be a homicide house fire in Montgomery early Tuesday morning turned out to be a murder-suicide involving a man and woman. (AL.com)
