- The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has located 14-year-old Luhniahyhua Sinceire Safford after issuing an emergency missing child alert on Saturday. The Montgomery teen had been missing since Tuesday night, according to officials. No details have been released on where Safford was found. (WSFA 12)
- Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has extended a COVID-19 state of emergency order that was scheduled to expire Tuesday to aid local hospitals. The order allows for expanded capacity in health care facilities and easier shipment of emergency equipment and supplies, which will help Alabama hospitals better handle the current COVID-19 caseloads. - New federal court filings have shed more light on the Sept. 30 arson of the historic First Baptist Church Montgomery. The filings reveal details of AFT agents' interviews with church members about Xiaoquin Yan, 27, who has been accused of setting four fires inside the church. (WSFA 12)
