  1. A Montgomery artist has been recognized by Hyundai Motor Corporation on its social media accounts on Thursday. The car company shared murals painted by Kevin King to its 2.7 million followers while touting the city's rich history. King's The King's Canvas nonprofit was recently awarded $15,000 by the Progress Project by Hyundai group. (WSFA12 News)

  3. Lawmakers in Montgomery report that they have no plans to suspend the state's gas tax. Currently, Alabama's gas tax is set at 28 cents per gallon. According to lawmakers, they are looking to the federal government at this time to address the rising fuel prices that Alabama consumers are dealing with. (WDHN ABC)
