Fifth-grade students at Seth Johnson take part in a success-mentoring program, with weekly sessions on character development, career discovery, and various topics from positive community influences. Montgomery police have made an arrest in Montgomery's final homicide in 2021. 22-year-old Herve' Owens of Montgomery, who was previously suspected in the shooting death of 20-year-old Michael Woods on Dec. 22, was charged with murder on Tuesday. Woods' death was the 76th and final homicide investigation in 2021 for the city. The investigation is ongoing and no further information was released at the time of publication. (WSFA 12)
