Here are the top three stories today in Montgomery:

1. A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with shots being fired into an Alabama Power vehicle on Tuesday. John Brandon Harris of Montgomery was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. Two people were inside the Alabama Power vehicle at the time; a motive for the shooting has not been identified. (WSFA 12)
2. A Black psychotherapist centering on the health of Black and Indigenous women has opened a practice in Montgomery. Candyce "Ce" Anderson, LPC is the founder and CEO of Revita Therapy and Wellness, located on Central Parkway. Anderson specializes in serving BIPOC individuals as well as LGBTQ+identifying clients. 3. After a severe weather system made its way through Alabama, the state will enjoy a much quieter pattern through the weekend and into early next week. Over the weekend, afternoon highs should reach the upper 60s on Friday and into the 70s on Saturday and Sunday, warming back up into the 80s on Monday. Though Montgomery may see cloudy skies on Saturday, most current models point toward a dry weekend ahead. (WSFA 12)
