Here are the top stories today in Montgomery:
- The Montgomery City Council decided this week to change this Halloween's festivities to Saturday, Oct. 30th. They recommend trick-or-treating wrap up before 9 p.m. Other cities in Alabama will be observing trick-or-treating the day before Halloween, too. (WSFA News)
- Sixty-nine Alabama colleges have waived fees for application week. Auburn University in Montgomery County is one of the schools waiving these fees. Fee waivers will be available until Friday this week. (AL.com News)
- The Savannah Bananas baseball team will be coming to Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium early next year. (Alabamanews.net)
- Montgomery City-County Public Library joined a program called "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten" on Monday mornings at the Cleveland Avenue YMCA. (USNews.com)
- The Alabama National Fair has implemented new attendance policies that affect those under the age of 17. (WSFA News)
