🌱 Woman Arrested, Charged With Murder + Crash Causes I-85 Delays

Here are the top stories today in Montgomery:
- Montgomery woman Yolanda Gary has been arrested and charged with murder, according to the Montgomery Police Department. Gary, 32, was identified as a suspect in the shooting death of Latoya Mitchell, 32, of Montgomery, on Dec. 5. Gary was taken into custody on Monday by a U.S. Marshals Service task force and transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility. (WSFA)
- Interstate 85 experienced delays near the Waugh Exit on Tuesday morning due to a crash that happened on Monday night. According to Col. Jon Briggs with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, the initial crash happened around 10 p.m. near the area of Atlanta Highway and Wares Ferry Road. A car crashed into a power pole, causing damage to the pole. (WSFA)
