  1. There's a lot going on Mountain Brook in July. The Birmingham Botanical Gardens is partnering with the Japan-America Society of Alabama to throw a Japanese-themed festival this weekend (July 2-3). Local merchants will show off their products at the Mountain Brook Village Market Day (July 16-17) and O'Neal Library's Summer Reading Finale Concert is scheduled for July 26.
