Spartans Volleyball Team Receives Top 10 Regional Ranking
The state champion Spartans are listed among the top 10 teams in the region in USA Today's final poll.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook High School's volleyball team captured its fourth state championship a couple of weeks ago, and in doing so, the Spartans landed themselves among some elite company.
USA Today listed the Spartans among the top 10 in Region 3 in its final high school volleyball poll. Mountain Brook is ranked 10th in the region, which includes all schools from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Mountain Brook finished the season 58-7, and capped it off by defeating McGill-Toolen 3-0 for the state title.
