The City of Pelham has declined comment, while a special-called City Council work session at Pelham City Hall is set for Monday evening to discuss personnel and legal matters in executive session. 
• Remains found near Pelham preliminarily identified as missing Alabaster man Glen Spence (abc3340.com) — Remains discovered Sunday in a wooded area near Wild Timber in Pelham have been preliminarily identified as missing Alabaster resident Glen "Mo" Spence, ending weeks of community searches. Pelham police and the Shelby County Coroner report no obvious trauma or signs of foul play, with formal identification and cause of death still pending from state forensic experts.
