• Pinson Council adopts new codes for property maintenance, rental properties (cbs42.com) — Pinson’s City Council has adopted new property maintenance standards and updated rules for rental properties and trash service that will take effect January 1, 2027. Landlords must now hold business licenses, and home-based or rental businesses on residential properties will be required to subscribe to city trash and yard debris collection. Leaders also discussed bulk trash amnesty, new welcome signs, and recent fire and medical call statistics.
