• Taking over policing in Prichard won't be cheap – but no one can predict tab for county taxpayers (fox10tv.com) — Prichard’s policing is now being handled by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, with deputies working costly overtime while officials still don’t know how much the shift will ultimately cost taxpayers. Residents say they’re less worried about the bill than about finally seeing better organization, faster response times, and a long-needed upgrade in law enforcement across their neighborhoods.
