• City of Semmes wants federal civil rights lawsuit to head to jury trial (fox10tv.com) — Semmes city officials are pushing for a jury trial in a federal civil rights lawsuit stemming from a January police shooting at Bowman’s Auto Air. The city disputes claims that officers entered without cause, fired first, or delayed medical care, while body camera footage remains withheld from one local TV station. A Mobile County grand jury declined to indict either Bowman or the officers.
