📰 News we're reading
• Spanish Fort seniors become emergency communication line for Baldwin County (gulfcoastmedia.com) — Spanish Fort’s Westminster Village seniors have built an amateur radio club that now serves as a backup communication lifeline for Baldwin County during hurricanes, winter storms and other emergencies. From monitoring I-10 conditions to sending welfare messages when phones fail, these older operators train year-round and maintain independent power so they can stay on the air when Spanish Fort and nearby communities need them most.
