Another Husky Gets Crimson Tide Offer

Hewitt-Trussville now has five players on its current football roster with scholarship offers from the University of Alabama.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - The University of Alabama's football coaching staff seems impressed with Hewitt-Trussville's current football team. That is pretty clear now that a fifth member of the current Huskies roster has been offered a football scholarship from the Crimson Tide. Junior defensive lineman Eric Taylor now becomes the third member of the junior class to be offered a UA scholarship.

Hewott-Trussville seniors Paul Tyson and Pierce Quick have already committed to Alabama, while juniors Dazalin Worhsam and Malachi Moore have also made verbal commitments to the Tide.

Alabama becomes one of more than a dozen schools to offer Taylor a chance to play big-time college football. Auburn, UAB, Troy, Ole Miss, Arkansas, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida State, Oregon, Florida Atlantic, Memphis, Nebraska and Kent State have also offered Taylor scholarships.
