Arrest Made In Oct. 13 Center Point Homicide

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office announced an arrest has been made in relation to the murder of 21-year-old Benjamin Elio Gonzalez. The homicide occurred Oct. 13 in Center Point.

Just before 7 p.m. that night, deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of Martinique Drive in Center Point after reports of gunfire in the area. When deputies arrived, they found Gonzalez deceased.

Deputy Cheif David Agee said detectives found tangible evidence on the scene and video evidence. Detectives tracked and located 19-year-old Frank Jamall Stelle, who has been arrested and charged with capital murder.

There is no bond on this case.
