CLAY, AL — A bank teller at the Regions Bank branch in Clay has been arrested after being accused of using customers' credit cards to make purchases for herself. Amber Jones, 25, was arrested Friday and charged with trafficking in stolen identities and two counts of identity theft, according to a report from the Trussville police.
Suspicion arose when a 17-year-old customer at the bank saw a fraudulent charge on his card to a food delivery service and called the service to complain. This triggered an investigation by Trussville police that led to Jones' arrest.
