Birmingham Public Library: Free Counting Stars Tutoring Happening At West End Library Every Wednesday

science, English, social studies, physical education, and Advanced
Placement Government.

After retiring from the school system, she
accepted a position with the Birmingham Public Library (BPL) at the West End Library.

 Tutoring is offered at the West End Library every Wednesday after school for: 

  • 2nd-5th grades in reading, English, and social studies 

  • 9th-12th grades in English, ACT English preparation, history, and government  

  • Other days of the week are available upon request!

    To set up a date and time to begin tutoring, call Ms. Richardson at the West End Library 205-226-4089.

    The BPL offers several free tutoring assistance programs, like HomeworkAlabama.com.

    Starting Saturday, October 16, the Central Branch Library will also host free tutoring sessions every Saturday in the Youth Department on the second floor. 

    Please call them at 205-226-3655 to make an appointment for a tutoring session.
