Center Point Purchases Church Building

CENTER POINT, AL - A church building left vacant after a a congregation merger will be purchased by the city of Center Point for $1.55 million. The city plans to close on the Hilldale Baptist Church building, located at 533 Sunhill Road, in the next 30 days.

Hilldale Baptist Church merged with Palmerdale Cross Baptist Church in Pinson last month, leaving the building vacant. Center Point plans to convert the church building into a civic center with a library after it has made renovations and rendered the building ADA compliant.
