Fatal Accident On Center Point Parkway: Investigation Ongoing

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 1500 block of Center Point Parkway Thursday. A pedestrian, an adult female, died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident. Two other people sustained minor injuries.

At about 11:15 Thursday morning, deputies were called to investigate a traffic accident involving three vehicles and a pedestrian in the 1500 block of Center Point Parkway. Reports say the pedestrian involved was a city of Center Point employee who had been planting flowers in the median when she was struck by a vehicle.
