Former HTHS Coach Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Former Hewitt-Trussville and Clay-Chalkville coach Hal Riddle earned a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - Former Hewitt-Trussville High School and Clay-Chalkville High School football coach Hal Riddle earned a Lifetime Acheivement Award from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

According to a report by the Trussville Tribune, Biddle was given 2018 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Herman L. “Bubba” Scott Lifetime Achievement award at the Alabama High School Athletic Association FCA luncheon on July 19.

A HTHS alumnus, Biddle coached the Huskies from 2002 until 2013, after winning a state championship with Clay-Chalkville in 1999.

The award is named in honor of former AHSAA Executive Director Herman "Bubba" Scott, who helped bring FCA to Alabama schools more than 40 years ago.
