Former Husky Casey Dunn Signs NFL Contract
Former Hewitt-Trussville football standout Casey Dunn has signed a contract with the Washington Redskins.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - Former Hewitt-Trussville football standout Casey Dunn has been signed to a free agent contract by the NFL's Washington Redskins.
A team captain for Coach Hal Riddle at Hewitt-Trussville, the Trussville, Ala., Dunn earned all-metro honors as a senior, and then went on to play at Jacksonville State before transferring to Auburn as a graduate transfer.
The 6-3, 285-pound Dunn was a two-year starter at JSU at center, earning first team all-Ohio Valley Conference honors and receiving first team All-America recognition from Walter Camp, and second team All-America honors from the Associated Press, STATS and the AFCA. Dunn anchored the Gamecock offensive line that paved the way for the top offense and rushing offense in the OVC, rolling up 434 yards per game, 250.6 yards per game on the ground.
