Friday A Big Night For Hewitt-Trussville Sports
The Hewitt-Trussville High School athletic program has a big day Friday, with football and baseball and taking the stage.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - Friday, May 11 is a huge day for Hewitt-Trussville High School athletics. Not only is the HTHS football team holding its Spring game Friday night, but the Huskies baseball team will play a doubleheader in the state baseball semifinals.
Hewitt-Trussville football will travel to and play Gadsden City High School in a game scheduled for 6 p.m. The Huskies defeated the Titans during the 2017 season scoring 38-24. The Huskies were 11-1 in 2017, claimed the 7A Region 4 title, and advanced to the state quarterfinals.
The Huskies are led by quarterback and University of Alabama signee Paul Tyson, and a bevy of players who will also be playing football on Saturdays in 2019.

The Hewitt-Trussville baseball team will be on the road at Bob Jones for a semifinal match-up Friday evening. A doubleheader is scheduled, with a third game, if necessary, on Saturday.
The baseball team looks to win its second state title in three years, riding the pitching of Auburn signee Carson Skipper. The Huskies swept James Clemens High School in quarterfinal action over the weekend to advance to the state semifinals.
