Hewitt-Trussville Alum Noah Igbinoghene Drafted In 1st Round
Former Husky and Auburn Tiger Noah Igbinoghene was selected in the first round of the NFL draft Thursday night.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A former Hewitt-Trussville Hisky is now a Miami Dolphin after Thursday night's first round of the NFL draft. Noah Igbinoghene, a 2017 graduate of Hewitt-Trussville, was selected as the 30th overall pick by Miami.
Igbinoghene was a star wide receiver for the Huskies before being transformed into a defensive back during his sophomore season at Auburn. He finished his career at Auburn with 92 tackles, and as the Tigers' primary kickoff returner, scored two touchdowns on returns, including a 96-yard kickoff return for touchdown vs. Minnesota in the Outback Bowl.
An All-State player at Hewott-Trussville, Igbinoghene had more than 1,700 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns in 12 games his senior year.
