Hewitt-Trussville Baseball Team Headed To Playoffs
The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies are headed to the AHSAA playoffs after barely missing the playoffs last year.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - Hewitt-Trussville is headed to the Alabama High School Athletic Association baseball playoffs after a 4-1 victory over Gasdsen City Tuesday.
HTHS rode a 13-strikeout performance by hurler Carson Skipper and the bat of Caden Kirk to clinch the win.
The Huskies, 7A state champions in 2016, barely missed the playoffs last season, but will get a chance at redemption after claiming a spot in this year's state playoffs. They face Gasdsden City again today.
